In Syros and Ermoupolis you can find several hotels, rooms for rent and studios. You can find hotels and rooms outside Ermoupoli, at the beaches as well so you will not face a problem to find accommodation in Syros, but the first 2 weeks of August are very crowded so you should better book a room early.
